Officer in Command
Brigade of the Napoleonic Association consists of three elements:
Cavalry, Infantry and Artillery. The Command element is small
comprising only the Brigade Commander and up to three aides de camp.

artillery is provided by La Garde Imperiale and the 3eme
Regiment de Artillerie. The infantry has
four line regiments, two light and two heavy, these being the
30eme, the 45eme, the 69eme and the 85eme. In addition there is a Battalion of
Grenadiers of the Garde.
tactical policy that the Brigade can deploy and manoeuvre not only
in their designated unit formations, but also in close or open order
as the situation demands. It is also policy that the rank structure
is minimalist, the number of officers reflecting the number of units
and NCOs being found appointed by the unit commanders only as
required for the effective command and control of the unit. All
Officers are also exercised in command at Brigade level.

events both within the UK and abroad. We have a wide range of units
portraying Guard and Line Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and Camp
Followers. Many of our units have family groups within them and all
units are able to support you in obtaining kit and accoutrements. To
