Battle Re-enactment & Living History...

The members of the Napoleonic Association  participate in an annual programme  that provides a variety of  events throughout the UK and in many parts of Europe.

If you are looking for authenticity, professionalism and a commitment to detail the NA cannot be bettered. Although our members are not professional actors, our professionalism in what we do and the quality and authenticity of our arms and uniforms is of the highest standard.

The NA can provide Infantry, Artillery and Cavalry for both the French and British armies. We also have our own experienced Pyrotechnic support unit who provide some excellent, authentic effects as needed.

In addition, as a very important backdrop to our displays, is our authentic living history encampment, where members re-enact the life of the military camp and provide an opportunity to meet the public. This enables the NA to provide a day long scenario of activity and interest leading up to skirmishes or a major battle. It also provides an educational dimension to our events.

Film & TV...

Members of the Association have taken part in many major TV and film productions over recent years including Pride and Prejudice, Vanity Fair, The Iron Duke, Mark Williams Big Bangs, Time Team and countless documentaries.

When you hire a member of the NA you get a fully kitted out and armed soldier with the relevant licences and experience. Coupled to this we have our own liaison person who will organise and manage those involved and act as the Associations link to the producers.

Safety First...

All our re-enactors have to pass safety accreditation tests before taking the field. They all have to hold the necessary firearms and other safety licences as required and all operate within the terms of the Associations' code of conduct, a copy of which is provided to every member.

We also have our own public liability insurance cover to the value of £5 million.

Proud Authenticity...

All of the drill we undertake and the battlefield activities and manoeuvres are authentic to the period and provide great entertainment and spectacle. Our infantry show great poise and discipline, our artillery power and precision, our cavalry dash and bravado and one of the best skill at arms demonstrations anywhere in the country.
